A new DIY experience in Tucker

Hey Tuckerites!

I know a lot of you are wondering "what's happening with the Old Antique Shop?" Well, I've got your answer! We are getting ready to move in to 4292 Railroad Ave for the purpose of giving y'all something fun to do in Tucker! Introducing Custom Crafts by You!

"But what is Custom Crafts by You?" It's a new kind of DIY experience designed to empower anyone to craft and create. We will start out offering workshops for making custom and personalized rustic wood signs and home decor. So think paint night but with wooden signs. But really, the possibilities are endless. And so are paint colors, or so I've learned. Don't worry, I've narrowed it down a bit (to 48) so it's not too overwhelming.

"Sounds great, when do you open?!?!" Well, that's tricky to answer. Honestly, I was hoping for mid-July, but if you've been past the shop you can see that isn't the case. Sometimes life happens and you just have to roll with the punches. Right now we (meaning me and my husband, Michael) are focusing on transforming the space into a place where you're creative juices can flow. We've purchased stools and some equipment, as well as lots of little things to spruce up the place. We'll keep you posted on our progress and can't wait to do one of those fun ribbon-cutting ceremonies!

"Where do I sign up?" Well, if you haven't already, please sign up for our mailing list here. When we start taking reservations, those on the mailing list will be the first to know! "This is so exciting!" We think so too! Oh, and did I mention, we will have a gift shop in the workshop featuring local, handmade items? Yep! Soaps, stationary, jewelry, pottery and lots more!
